The Adult Basic Education (ABE) Program is designed to provide instruction in the basic academic skills of reading, writing, and mathematics to adult learners in order to prepare them for transitioning into a high school diploma program such as GED or National External Diploma Program.

The Adult Basic Education (ABE) Program is designed to provide instruction in the basic academic skills of reading, writing, and mathematics to adult learners in order to prepare them for transitioning into higher education, vocational training and/or employment.  This program can be used as a precursor to the GED and EDP programs.  The desired outcome is to help each adult learner reach a high level of self-sufficiency as an individual, family member, and community member.
