Intro into Self Defense

This 6 week course will introduce you to the basics of Self Defense using the art of Shaolin Kempo Karate which is an effective form of close quarter self-defense. It does not rely on strength but rather on applied physics to make your movements effective against opponents of much greater size and strength

Introduction to Digital Photography

Ever observe different types of photography and ask, why or how?  This new course will develop your sense of composition, depth, content placement and some of the basic rules of thirds and fourths.  The class, led by Bruce Sumner, will discuss lens elements, shutter speed, and how to achieve the  artistic result you want.  Each student will be required to take pictures for class discussion and critique in a comfortable setting. 

Introduction to Excel and Google Sheets (2007/2010)

Interested in working with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets? Join our class in creating, saving, filtering and printing worksheets. Students will learn the different types of data that may be stored in a worksheet from Bruce Sumner. You will also learn the types of functions and formulas you can include in your spreadsheet. Please bring a memory stick to class.

Introduction to Microsoft Office

Learn some of the new applicationsin Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Publisher. Each class will give you some new ideas to make your work easier.  Please bring a memory stick to class.

Introduction to Personal Computer

Do your grandkids know more about computers than you do?  Are you lost in space when it comes to  instant messaging, text messaging, and mail?  Michael Archambault will teach you the basic programs of  Microsoft Office 2010,  and their  applications.  Together we will “surf the net” and learn how to attach photos and other files to emails.  

Leprechaun Night
