Lilly's Bus Tours - Bronx Zoo Forest of Lights

Celebrate the diversity of nature as you begin a walking tour into a forest of lights surrounded by magical life lanterns representing over 70 different species of animals from Africa, Asia, Latin America, North America and our Oceans.

Fee: Adults - $139.00   Children $134.00       

Deposit $30.00 per person

**All sales are FINAL, but if the trip is canceled due to lack of sales, within 30 days of cancellation, a check for the amount paid will be refunded.  BUT, if you cancel there will be no refund.  Gratuities for the driver and tour director are not included.**

Payment plan available: $30 deposit plus 4 payments of $27.25, paid every four weeks.

Glitter Snowflake

Daniel Resto will help this class create an east and fun snowflake painting using stampers and glitter paint. In this class you will also learn how to cut out snowflakes out of folded paper and draw lines of glue to make snowflake patterns on a pastel sky. You can follow his directions or go at it free style. All ages are welcome. Please register with Daniel at 203-468-3795 or at dresto@east-haven.k12.ct.us. Pre-registration is required.

New York is a smorgasbord of cultures and incredible cultural traditions.  We will eat of the go so you can sample as many cultural delights as possible.  Highlights will include; Chelsea Market ((10th Avenue), Zanbar’s Emporium (Upper West Side)  and Arthur Avenue (Little Italy).

Fixing Problems in Retirement

This course will focus on educating students on the risks, considerations, and topics needing to be accounted for in creating, planning and writing their own written retirement financial plan.  Students will uncover the need to plan for Health Care Shocks and the  impact it has on individual retirement planning.  Robert Craft of Sentinel Assist Management will educate students to understand their Social Security Benefits, future spending needs, understanding the tax benefits/risks of their asset designation and the effect their future cash flow income needs.

The High School Credit Diploma Program is an alternative route designed to assist the student in completing a high school degree while learning life and career skills.  Students entering the program must meet the following requirements:

  • As of July 1, 2011, students under 18 years of age, should contact the Adult Education Facilitator, Joe Ferraiolo,to determine their eligibility
  • Not enrolled in high school as defined under state law
  • Ability to furnish high school withdrawal form from previous school
  • Transcript of completed coursework must be forwarded to the EHALC

Our goal is to meet the unique individual needs of each student enrolled in the program.  Students may combine credits awarded for prior academic work with credits earned through current learning experiences.  Required courses in English, mathematics, social studies, and science are offered every semester, as well as various electives that can be used to attain a high school diploma.

Semester 1     August 27 - October 31, 2020

Semester 2     November 2, 2018 - January 22, 2021

Semester 3     January 25 - April 2, 2021 (Tentative)
