CDP - High School Credit Diploma Program - Semester 1

The High School Credit Diploma Program is an alternative route for students seeking to earn a high school diploma. The program offers required core courses, electives, and life and career skills in accordance with the Connecticut State Department of Education's College and Career Readiness standards.
* STUDENTS MUST BE EAST HAVEN RESIDENTS TO REGISTER FOR THIS PROGRAM.

ESL - Intermediate/Advanced - Evening - Non-resident

This ESL class is designed for adults who are speakers of other languages and have either completed our beginners ESL classes or meet a minimum score on placement test. Students will receive instruction in reading, conversation, pronunciation, speech idioms and writing English. Non-East Haven residents must pay $50 per semester.
Classes meet Monday & Wednesday evenings, 6:00-8:00 pm.

Citizenship / Naturalization - Non-resident

Prepare for the American Citizenship test and learn about the rights and responsibilities afforded with U.S. Citizenship. This class will assist individuals through the Naturalization process. Each participant will be familiarized with U.S. History, English reading and writing skills, and participate in mock interviews to develop the skills needed to achieve US Citizenship.

ABE - Adult Basic Education Math - Day Class

The Adult Basic Education (ABE) Program is designed to provide instruction in the basic academic skills in mathematics to adult learners in order to prepare them for transitioning into a high school diploma program such as GED or National External Diploma Program.
GED - Day Classes - Non-resident

These classes will prepare students to take the State GED exams. Students 17 years of age must be withdrawn from school for 6 months to join this program. This is a general assessment class that will cover all aspects of the test. Non-East Haven residents must pay $50 per semester.

Michael Archambault will teach you the basic programs of Microsoft Office 2010, and their applications. Together we will “surf the net” and learn how to attach photos and other files to emails.
