Advanced Excel and Google Sheets

This continuation to the beginners Excel course will help you navigate this powerful analytical tool. You will learn to maximize all the functional capabilities it offers: validation to protect your worksheets, what- if analyses from data tables and pivot table techniques to create calculated fields and items. Finally, you can become proficient at the nesting functions within all the Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets programs and what it can offer to you. Bruce Sumner is your instructor.  Pleas bring a thumb drive to the class.  ** There is no class on November 7, 2017.

Pharmacy Technician Program


This comprehensive 50-hour course will prepare students to enter the pharmacy field and take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s PTCB exam. Technicians work in hospitals, home infusion pharmacies, community pharmacies, and other healthcare settings - working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Course content includes medical terminology specific to the pharmacy, reading and interpreting prescriptions, and defining drugs by both their brand and generic names.

Students will also learn dosage calculations, I.V. flow rates, drug compounding, dose conversions, dispensing of prescriptions, inventory control, billing, and reimbursement procedures.

Total Course content hours - 130 hours (50 content hours and 80 externship hours)Fee: $1,299.00 (Textbooks and externships are included)

Tuesday and Thursday evenings

February 12, 2019 - April 2, 2019        

6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

This course requires a high school diploma or GED certification to enroll. All technical certification program applicants should also have taken math and science classes in high school.  Payment must be made at the time of registration. There is no financial aid available at this time.

Driver Improvement Program (DIP) for the Mature Operator Session 2

This interactive course for drivers over 60 is designed to extend the mature operator's driving career and reduce the participant's risk of a crash. Your instructor is Adelle Zocher who will guide you through a four-hour session that addresses current laws and safe driving recommendations. A certificate of completion is given at the end of this 4-hour course that may give drivers a discount on their auto insurance premiums.
