Mindfulness

$79

with Tamye Krosky

Calendar Jan 19, 2022 at 6:30 pm, runs for 8 weeks

Mindfulness meditation is a mental training exercise that involves being fully focused on "the now" so you can explore, acknowledge and accept your thoughts, feelings, and sensations without judgment. A regular practice can help you to respond rather than react, let go of negativity, calm both your mind & body and point you towards more joy. Come as you are - no props, preparation or previous experience necessary. Mindfulness can be done anywhere, anytime by anybody. Come join Tamye Krosky, your certified instructor, as we explore a different type of guided mindfulness practice. The first session will be 1.5 hours and attendance is strongly recommended. The remaining sessions are 1 hour.

At times parents feel lost or without a clue about what our child might need from us. Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you. The Circle of Security® Parenting™ program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened.

Come and be part of this group of parents, led by Daniel Resto, which meets for One-Hour every week, to learn and discuss a different weekly video topic. This series begins Thursday, October 3rd.

Slow Flow Yoga Session II

$79

with Michele Antisdel

Calendar Feb 14, 2022 at 6:30 pm, runs for 6 weeks

Slow Flow Yoga is a slower paced class than a regular Vinyasa flow yoga class. The slower pace is meditative emphasizing peace and calm in body and mind. Poses will be held longer taking several rounds of breath in each pose rather than moving with each breath. Props such as bolsters, straps and blocks are encouraged, though not required, to allow the body to fully achieve each pose comfortably. This is a great class for students looking for a gentle experience, those who are new to yoga, or experienced Yogi’s who would like a change of pace yet still have the option to take it to the next level.
